UK Production Guild Member Steve Johnson has climbed the ranks of the British production industry over the last decade. As a seasoned Production Manager, he has worked on a wide range of US Studio and British independent film projects like "The Beekeeper", "Luther", "Beetlejuice 2" and "Savage House".

All of these projects have helped gather a multitude of context and experience when dealing with US Studios and Co-Productions. Able to clearly articulate solutions to the problem and operate through the midfield of studio systems and software. 

Through "TheLineProducer.co.uk", Steve and his colleagues build and prep some of the most fundamental documents that help get an initial script off the ground. With detailed schedules, budgets and clear finance plans a production can get a step closer to that 'greenlight' and getting a production underway. 

Recently he was selected and participated in the European FOCAL Production Value Course (Vienna 2024), which provides training to up and coming Producers in the International and European film markets. 

Also Steve is a keen educator who regularly gives talks and lectures on filmmaking practices and US film elements like dealing with US Unions (SAG and DGA).
